  • Is the KNG-P150CMD and KNG2-P150CMD approved for use on Federal or State of California (Cal Fire) Incident?
    Yes, both radios meet the National Interagency Incident Communications Division (NIICD) requirements and are approved for Federal, State and Local Agency incidents.
  • Is the KNG series radio P25 compliant?
    Yes, all KNG radios are P25 compliant.
  • What is the difference between the KNG-P150 and KNG-P150CMD radios?
    They are the same radio except with the KNG-P150CMD radio you can build Specialized Command Groups.
  • What is the difference between the KNG-P150CMD and the KNG2-P150CMD radios?
    The KNG2-P150CMD radio is the newest generation and has the same features as the KNG-P150CMD radio, but in addition comes with a larger display and it is colored, it has louder audio and is Bluetooth and GPS capable. The Bluetooth and GPS features are at an additional cost.
